Canals And Rivers

 
There are no major rivers in the river Raipur, but there are canals and numerous ponds, from which many fisheries traders of our union traditionally fishes.

 

In the same way, Karimpur of Raipur Union, Baniyapukur canal passed by the side of the road. In 1978 President Ziaur Rahman inaugurated the work of digging the canal for the development of the agricultural irrigation system.
