Md. Golam Sakhalin, a well-qualified chairman of this Union, took a breakthrough in the development of the union of the 9th Raipur Union of the Gangni upazila of Meherpur district and for the overall development of this union banyan. In the same context, during the 12-10-2020 daily: 11.00 pm on Thuesday, an emergency meeting was organized in the Union Council. He organized this meeting with a view to creating a loose society in the form of prevention of child marriage, drug-free society, child labor, terrorism and sabotage. Local leaders including the Secretary of the Union, Mr. Motiar Rahman, all UP members and women members were present in the meeting.
